The oldest species of which you have records of a sex organ similar to the penis is a marine creature called Colymbosathon ecplecticos (icky amazing large penis swimmer ealing). This is the oldest penis in the world. This crustacean was about 5 centimetres long, lived at sea about 425 million years ago and was discovered by scientists at the University of Leicester (UK) in 2003.
